Opuntia oil (prickly pear oil) has an incredible power to revitalize and restore the skin of the lips. The oil is extremely rare and precious, often difficult to obtain, and compared to other oils, opuntia oil contains the most vitamin E.
Beeswax from the Athos peninsula contains several times more trace elements than ordinary beeswax from artificial beehives! It cleans the skin and removes toxins from the skin (especially important for today's city dwellers). It also improves intercellular blood circulation, gives the skin a fresh and healthy look. Beeswax is extremely rich in carotene (while 100 g of carrots contain 2–9 mg of carotene, beeswax contains 8–12 mg of carotene). Beeswax has wonderful emollient, nourishing and anti-inflammatory properties. Beeswax is absorbed into the skin rather slowly, forming a kind of protective film on it that does not clog pores. Such a film significantly slows down the dehydration and aging processes of the skin, making the skin soft, smooth and elastic.
